PETER SCHMIDT:

My experience and area knowledge includes Country Club and non-gated neighborhoods throughout Coachella Valley, with special emphasis on Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert.  I understand what works and what doesn’t from the client’s viewpoint.  My personal goal is to make the sale and/or purchase of real estate a seamless process by identifying my client’s wants and needs and finding solutions to complete their transaction on a timely basis.

MAGGIE SCHMIDT:

Real Estate is where I plan to work into my Golden Years and beyond.  Since my husband and I have teamed up it sure has made for interesting dinner conversation. My background, for the last 3 decades has been in sales; it runs in my family.  During the ten years prior to starting in real estate I owned an import business and traveled extensively developing and importing products to sell wholesale throughout the United States. When you are dealing in different languages to do business, you really have to develop your listening skills and your patience.  I feel those two skills are highly developed and serve me well with my clients in real estate.  Listening to my clients is key to understanding what their needs and wants really are; and patience with the process of finding “just the right house or opportunity" for my clients.

For fun I am involved with and am on the Board of The Girlfriend Factor; a non-profit organization that fosters friendship and support among women.  We work to pool our resources to assist other women in changing their lives for the better through educational grants. We focus on women who have been diverted from reaching their potential and help them to realize their goals through education and training.  And we are committed to having all the fun we can along the way.  If you are moving to the Desert and are looking for something to get involved in where you can meet lots of new, fun & interesting people - this might be the place.
